Alejandra Martinez and Jordan Griffin (Undergraduates) and Dr. Montana will be presenting their research project at Texas Chapter American Fisheries Society meeting 2020, Waco, Texas. 23-25 Jan.
Our paper in Environmental Fish Biology entitled: "Functional and trophic diversity of fishes in the Mekong-3S river system: comparison of morphological and isotopic patterns" was accepted for publication! Yeaaa!
Our paper entitled Emergent patterns between salamander prey and their predators is published in early view in Food Webs e00128. Congratulations!
10/21-29. Dr Montana traveled to Rupununi River (Guyana) for filming piranhas and other Neotropical fishes with BBC Channel.
Dr. Montana and Dr. Josh Perkin (TAMU) received a Texas Parks and Wildlife grant for proposal entitled: Assessing pathways of introduction of non-native fishes (Sheepshead Minnow: Cyprinodon variegatus, and Gulf Killifish: Fundulus grandis) in Texas streams.
- Our review paper entitle Revisiting “what do tadpoles really eat?” A 10‐year perspective - published as an early view article on the Freshwater Biology. Congratulations all!
- Dr. Montaña attended the NSF workshop "Understanding Freshwater Ecosystem Change through Analysis of Long-term Samples from Regional U.S. Fish Collections" in Fort Collins, Colorado.
